Welcome to the Conscious Tech Collective

Welcome to the Conscious Tech Collective, a vibrant community at the intersection of technology, science art, and ancient wisdom. We are a neuroscience-led, heart-centered group of designers, builders, and healers dedicated to creating, incubating, and supporting technology that reconnects us with ourselves, each other, and the environment.

We meet weekly at the SF Commons and host interdisciplinary speakers to share their groundbreaking work, sparking enriched interdisciplinary discussions. These sessions are designed to foster collaboration, innovation, and a deeper understanding of the ways technology can enhance our collective consciousness.

Recently we’ve hosted:

Stephen Zerfas & Alex Gruver (Jhourney) -  jhana meditation retreat & neurotech company

Kati Devaney (The Berkeley Alembic) - neuroscience & meditation researcher at UC Berkeley

Timothy Hanson (Springtail AI ~ formerly co-founder of Neuralink) - neurobiologist, electric and computer engineer and now AI researcher

Felix Schoeller (BeSounds & Institute for Advanced Consciousness Studies) - neuroscientist & inventor creating and studying tools to measure and enhance aesthetic chills

AJ Keller (Neurosity) - computer engineer and hardware designer of the “Crown,” a bluetooth EEG headset

In addition to our weekly gatherings, we host larger events such as build days, community action days, and unconferences. These events provide hands-on opportunities to engage with cutting-edge technology, participate in meaningful community projects, and explore new ideas in a collaborative and open environment.
